Welcome
We are excited to announce the ENDOVASCULAR SUMMIT 2008 to be held this year in Buenos Aires, Argentina October 25-26, 2008. We would like to invite you to participate as an attendee of this important global educational program.
Building on the success of the previous ENDOVASCULAR SUMMIT programs, we are proud to present a similar format to that in the past. Feedback from participants, faculty and industry has remained overwhelmingly positive. The presentation of complex and challenging interventional cases has consistently been well received. The lively, interactive and often heated discussions between the presenter, expert international faculty panel and the audience stands out as the most engaging and beneficial aspects of the meeting.
The faculty for ENDOVASCULAR SUMMIT 2008 has established international reputations as both clinicians and leaders in their fields, and we are anticipating an attentive audience of advanced endovascular specialists, interventional cardiologists, vascular surgeons and interventional radiologists. We will cover a wide variety of endovascular intervention topics during our interactive case presentations. Informative patient cases will be reviewed with a special emphasis given to performing complex interventional procedures and how to manage or avoid major complications. We invite the submission of interesting clinical cases for presentation.
We are pleased to announce the addition of two new lunch sessions to the Summit program.
• Saturday, October 25, 2008: “Managing Your Cardiovascular Practice”, moderated by Dr. C. Vozzi, with presentations from Drs. A. Penna, A. Lobato, and E. Diethrich each providing their perspectives on managing their practices from Argentina, Brazil and the USA.
• Although the time period for submitting interesting cases for inclusion into the main program of the Endovascular Summit has closed, a new lunch session has just been added! In addition to clinical case presentations by Faculty and Program Directors, the Endovascular Summit 2008 has added a new lunch session for case consultations for attendees of the meeting. Submitted cases will be reviewed by a panel of experts in a new special lunch session scheduled for Sunday, October 26, 2008.
Please join us at 3:00 pm on Sunday, October 26, 2008 immediately following the adjournment of the Summit meeting for a 90 minute sponsored workshop open to all attendees: “Endologix + Powerlink: The new generation in EVAR”. All attendees are welcome and encouraged to attend. Presenters include: Drs. L. Bechara, P. Zamudio, and Z. Krajcer.
