Endovascular Summit Program

The Endovascular Summit (EVS) 2011 will consist of advanced, case based presentations and debates on the latest endovascular topics, presented by some of the world's leading experts in their fields. Additional symposia on advanced procedures complete an educational experience in advanced endovascular techniques not available elsewhere.

The Program Committee of the Endovascular Summit strives to present a case based environment of frank discussion and debate that provides practical information of immediate benefit to the endovascular specialist. Now in its ninth year, the Endovascular Summit has consistently been rated by attendees as one of the most valuable medical conferences of the year.

Learning Objectives

At the end of the Endovascular Summit, the participant will be better prepared to:

  • Assess the newest technology and interventional techniques and determine the appropriate application to their patients
  • Diagnose and assess patients with peripheral vascular disease
  • Review new advances in the endoluminal repair of abdominal and thoracic aortic aneurysms
  • Critically evaluate the appropriate use of stent grafts for aortic aneurysm repair
  • Understand the appropriate use of vascular closure devices
  • Discuss the appropriate use of stents for carotid, iliofemoral, renal, and aortic disease
  • Integrate into their practices the knowledge obtained through case presentations
  • Apply the results of evidence-based medicine in the management of their patients
  • Discuss the latest imaging technologies utilized in endovascular techniques and interventional medicine
  • Integrate these forms of therapy into a clinical practice to minimize complications in coronary and peripheral vascular interventions

Course Format

The ENDOVASCULAR SUMMIT focuses on the most relevant topics in endovascular medicine today. New and innovative therapies are being developed at a breakneck pace, and the SUMMIT provides an informal and comfortable atmosphere in which attendees can have one on one interaction with internationally recognized specialists in the field.

Target Audience

The SUMMIT is designed for advanced professionals in the endovascular fields including interventional cardiologists, radiologists, neurologists, vascular surgeons, neuro, cardiothoracic surgeons, and others interested in the rapidly evolving area of endovascular techniques.
